Miriam and Antoine Besson have just divorced. A bitter legal battle with their young son Julien at the centre results in joint custody, despite Miriam arguing that her son does want to see his father. Her claims that Antoine has been violent towards them don't stand up when she fails to produce proof of this in front of the judge. As Antoine tries to re-establish a relationship with his distressed son, the truth of the situation is slowly and tensely revealed.

Based on his 2013 Oscar-nominated short Just Before Losing Everything, this impressive feature debut from French actor-director Xavier Legrand is a dynamic and suspenseful family drama.
